Announcements & Events
FMS families and students, here's a first look at something we're really excited about: the Construction Skilled-Trades Lab coming to our technical center.
This new 4,000-square-foot facility will be built on the site of the former PreK West building and is set to open by Fall 2027. The equipment for the Lab has already been purchased and is on site at FMS, ready for installation once construction is complete.
As families settle into a new school year, adjust schedules, and help children settle into new routines, it’s also a good time to check in on a child’s emotional well-being
Last week, our Language & Culture Department hosted a family event and presentation on Kinaaldá, the traditional four-day coming-of-age ceremony for young girls in the Diné culture. The evening was led by Dr. Avery Denny, who shared his knowledge of the ceremony, including the preparations that come before it and the teachings that guide it.
Our students at Farmington High are helping us decide whether coffee belongs on the menu in our secondary schools, and this week's taste test gave us plenty to think about.
